Privacy notice
This notice describes the AVO Invents website and its secure contact form. To ask about how your information is used, please use the contact form.
Your enquiry
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, enquiry type and message are sent to the website’s server and emailed to AVO Invents using authenticated, encrypted mail submission. We use this information to assess and respond to your enquiry. Your email address is included so we can reply to you. A successful submission means the mail service accepted the message; it does not indicate that it has already been read.
You choose what to include in your enquiry. Please avoid including sensitive health information, passwords or confidential technical material in an initial enquiry. The form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Why we use information
Business enquiries are handled for the legitimate interest of responding to requests and discussing engineering work. Where an enquiry concerns a potential contract with you, information may also be needed to take steps at your request before entering that contract.
Hosting, email and retention
The contact service is designed for Krystal hosting. Website and email providers process requests and messages to operate the service. Technical access and security logs may include IP addresses and request details. Anti-spam controls use short-lived signed form tokens and a private rate-limit record containing a keyed hash of your IP address and submission times, without storing the enquiry text in that record. Rate-limit entries are ignored after one hour and removed on the next valid submission. No contact-session or tracking cookie is used. The form does not save your message in browser storage or a website enquiry database; sent messages are handled in email systems. Enquiry information is kept for as long as needed to respond, manage any resulting business relationship and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
Cookies and third-party content
This website code contains no analytics, advertising trackers, tracking cookies or embedded third-party content. It does not use local storage. This notice concerns this website; other services and pages on the same domain may have their own notices.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to send an enquiry. Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, or request portability. Contact AVO Invents through the enquiry form to make a request. You can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Updates
